What health insurance do you accept?

Below you will find a list of insurances we accept.  Prior to your visit, please be sure to check with your insurance company to ensure that you have eye care or medical benefits and that Blacksburg Eye Associates is covered under your current plan.

For patients without insurance, payment is expected at time of service.

    Do you offer extended hours?

    We do.  We have are open until 6pm on Thursdays and Fridays.  Please contact our receptionist and request extended hours if that would best fit your schedule.

    What should I do if I have an eye emergency after hours?

    You can contact our doctor after hours by calling us at 540-953-2020 and following the instructions with the messaging service.  Typically the doctor will call you back within about 15 minutes.  If you do not get a call back or if you are in doubt, you should call 911 or visit an emergency room.

    Do you offer consultations for LASIK?

    Of course!  We are happy to discuss all of your surgical options.  You should have the options for the latest technology, unsurpassed personal attention, and a highly skilled and experienced doctor.  Please contact our office and request a comprehensive examination to see if you're a good candidate for LASIK.  Click here, for additional information on LASIK.

    Can I purchase my contacts or glasses in your office?

    Absolutely!  We offer a full-service optical and contact lens center.  Here you will find a great selection of frames and sunglasses.  Our optical staff are happy to assist you with finding the perfect frames and lenses for you, and your lifestyle.  Please visit our Optical Page to view some of our frame lines.

    How do I schedule an appointment?

    Visit our Contact Us page for information regarding office information.  Here you will find hours, directions, and phone numbers to schedule your appointment.  You can also email us here, or request an appointment online (below).  We will do our best to find a time that will accommodate your schedule. If you are a new patient, please download the New Patient Paperwork and have it completed prior to your appointment.
