I had a great experience with Blacksburg Eye Associates! Everyone I interacted with was very helpful. Dr. Mitchell and Jordan, the technician who worked with me, were both fantastic. Jordan was friendly and explained what to expect at each part of the eye exam. Dr. Mitchell then showed me the images taken of my eyes and took the time to explain what she was looking for and why. As she performed more aspects of the eye exam, she answered all of my questions and gave me the sense that she cared about her patients' health. I'd highly recommend Dr. Mitchell and Jordan! The office staff was also great, and I didn't have a long wait.

Blacksburg Eye is extremely thorough with my teen daughter who has issues with declining vision. Dr. Hempelmann is right on top of the newest treatments to help her with her vision. She makes my daughter feel comfortable in the office, explaining things thoroughly but in such a way as to not alarm my daughter in any way. I appreciate her continued attentiveness to my daughter's condition, and willingness to work with me on it.
